The Lancer Tactical Gen 2 line is Lancers line of beginner AEGs on the market, being extremely budget friendly, and containing all needed to get the gun on the field, right down to the BBs, The Gen 2 line comes in a variety of sizes, colours, and designs, today we will be looking at the Lancer Tactical LT-15 Gen 2 model.
From the front of the gun comes an orange tipped mock silencer. The front sight is a standard flip up style sight that is adjustable for elevation. The outer barrel is made of polymer and is 5.5 inches. Covering the outer barrel is a 7” quad rail system that provides plenty of rail spaces for accessories such as grip, flashlight, laser, or PEQ box. The rail system is made of durable polymer which also keeps the weight down.
The body is made of the same polymer material as the rail system. The rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation, it is also removable if another sighting system such as red dot sight or scope is preferred. The dust cover on the Gen 2 series can be easily opened to access the hop up unit, otherwise the dust cover will stay open as the default position with a mock bolt plate to prevent any unwanted debris from entering the hop up or the gearbox. All Gen 2 AEGs have a sling adapter on its comfortable 6 position retractable crane stock. The battery housing is located inside the crane stock, and the space inside the stock can accommodate a 9.6V NiMH Nunchuck battery.
The gearbox is a full metal V2 gearbox that is compatible with an extensive variety of aftermarket replacement or upgrade parts. Based on the gearbox specs, it is recommended to use this rifle with a 9.6v NiMH battery or a 7.4v Lipo battery. 11.1v Lipo batteries are more powerful and can be used to power the rifle to achieve a higher rate of fire and crispier trigger response but at the cost of a higher rate of wear and tear on the rifle.
All Lancer Tactical Gen 2 series come with the same hop up and barrel set up: aluminum inner barrel, plastic hop up and standard bucking. Just like the gear box, all major components listed above can be replaced or upgraded with aftermarket parts to achieve better accuracy.
The Lancer Tactical LT-15 Gen 2 has 2 versions, high power that shoots around 370-400fps, low power that shoots around 310-350fps . The Lancer Tactical LT-15B M4 CQB-SD Gen2 AEG is a 2nd Generation of Lancer Tactical AEGs. It features a stronger reinforced polymer receiver to be more durable and solid feel. It comes standard with a full metal outer barrel and an integrated mock suppressor. It also comes standard with a 6.03mm precision inner barrel and an adjustable rotary type hop-up to significantly improve bb accuracy. Thea gearbox features a full metal shell with easy spring change feature, polycarbonate piston body with metal teeth, and metal gearset.
This package now comes standard with the gun itself, a 300 round high capacity magazine, 9.6v 1600mah NiMh battery, and smart charger.

Note: Using airsoft guns with an 11.1v lipo battery will improve trigger response and rate of fire (BBs/Second) but at the same time increase wear and tear of internal parts.

The final thought of lt-15-g2 series
I have purchased 2 of these guns 1 of my reviews is top post on YouTube from a major distributor so here we go. 1st thing any1 will appreciate is the power to weight ratio 8 hr game days are very tolerable for this weapon. 2 strength inside what u have is a hidden gem no there not top tier but there damn good and a steal for the money upgrade wise motor and gears and bolt might be a choice for you if you are going to custom the gun but sitting stock these gen 2 are crazy good and can handle 11.1 I put 5000 rounds not 1 issue steel rack piston low resistance wire good gears decent motor and the best plus is rear spring draw for quick field adjustments the body of this gun is a+ THEY DID NOT I REPEAT DID NOT GO CHEAP ON MATERIAL VERY STRONG I have guys from iowa army base I have gotten in to airsoft and we got to play on base 2 weeks ago showed them this gem after my ranging from 1100 to 109 dollar air soft guns and ya know they agree with me as well for what u pay for and get probably the beat gun for the price I have seen in 10 years and I have been in airsoft ever since I put in my 4 years and when we got back looked for a better choice then paintball been doing it since about 12 years now my dad's a engineer so naturally I always see what makes things tick and how they can improve wish I had 2 more to just let the guys at the base pass around to try as usually me having 15 airsoft guns I'm usually the lender fixer ect the OIC on the base loves the concept of training with these and even grabed my tan lt 15 g2 and played with it all in all guys your doing it for us the people and airsofters alike we hope you are here to stay . Now if I may the cons lol play on the butt had to use aluminum tape to take all the play out works like a charm and looks great mm play just bugged me front sight a tad off think might be the molding I can't get it to line perfect nothing that can't be fixed with a red dot ect and the mag is awsome it will dump the whole clip huge tactical advantage when u have multiple ready to go just drop and keep spraying a great must. Last but least this is a request to make Lancer tactical guns the ones to brag about shim them to perfection u want a gun that outlast and u can brag about then take a few extra mins and shim my biggest pet peeve and this goes for even my highest dollar guns as a son of a engineer anything with moving parts with stress should be detailed with shims just a suggestion guys other that that like I said best airsoft gun for the money in 10 years And I thank you for it

Great gun for the price
I was not expecting a lot because the price is only $109.95. When I opened the box, it came with the gun, battery, charger, magazine, cleaning rod, small bag of bbs, manual and other paper works. The polymer receiver feels really solid way better than the Gen 1. The rail is also polymer and also the mock suppressor. I has a very good range, i would say 150 ft more or less and pretty accurate too. Overall, I am very impressed with this gun and it has almost the same range and accuracy compared to my $300 full metal M4. I have been using this more and more lately because it is light and i can be out on the field longer.

I wanted to buy my first airsoft gun and a fiend recommended this and im happy i got this instead. My gun was shooting 392fps and it is very accurate. I was able to hit targets at 130ft away. I like the full auto feature and the battery can last hours before i need to recharge.
